Himi
When I was a child, Himi that had come to beach in summer vacation every year.
There is a temple of the uncle.
I want to visit suddenly, I visited the summer again Himi of 2014.
I have taken the state of the Obon of Himi.
Every year, as the deceased soul becomes Bon is said to go back to the family.

Himi is a village surrounded by mountains and the sea.
People, pray the autumn of good harvest. they pray for safety and good catch of people Big fishing.
And, mother pray the safety of children who are working out into the big city.
This is the village where Buddhist faith is alive to life.
氷見
子供のころ毎年夏休みには家族で氷見に海水浴に来ていました。
海岸の目の前に伯父の寺があります。
2014年私は急に「氷見のお盆」を撮影したいと思いました。なんとなく乾いたような時世の中で、
氷見ならまだ「お寺が人々のコミュニティの場」であった風景が残っているかなと思いました。
氷見は山と海に囲まれた処です。
人々は、豊作の秋を祈り大漁や安全を祈ります。
そして、母は大都会に出て働いている子どもたちの安全を祈ります。
ここでは、仏教の信仰が人々の暮らしの中にしっかりと生きづいているように思いました。

Child of the Buddha
she is my niece.
My home is a temple, paternal boys grew up in almost family of monks.
I also grew from childhood and is led to the teachings of Buddhism.
Each year New Year's Eve day, we do a big cleaning of the temple.
She and me has started the Buddha of cleanse together since she was 5 years old.
she became 13 years old this year. The appearance and growth I have taken every year.
She looks like a "child of the Buddha", while talking to interact with the family that has always spent
she continues to polish the Buddha.

Praying hands
「仏の子」
この少女は私の姪です。私の実家は寺で、父方の男子は殆ど僧侶という家系で育ちました。
私も子供のころから仏教の教えに導かれて成長しました。毎年大晦日は寺の大掃除をします。
姪が5歳のころから一緒に仏様のお清めを始めました。今年は１３歳になりました。
その姿と成長を毎年撮影しています。
彼女はまるで「仏の子」のように、いつも一緒にいる家族と触れ合うように話しながら仏様を磨いていきます。
冬の寒い日、もうすぐ雪も降りそうです。
自分の手が冷たく真っ赤になっても一心に磨きあげる姿はとても純粋です。
私も心をうたれました。
冬の澄んだ空、枯れたように咲く紫陽花。一滴の静けさ
ここは、とても静かで美しい場所です。
ひとたび外に出れば、世界では争いなどで大変な人々が沢山います。
今ここでの 彼女のような清らかな心を持ち続けていれば世界にも平和が訪れるであろうと、
そうなって欲しいという願いを込めてこの作品をまとめました。
