When I was a child, Himi that had come to beach in summer vacation every year.

氷見
子供のころ毎年夏休みには家族で氷見に海水浴に来ていました。
海岸の目の前に伯父の寺があります。
2014年私は急に「氷見のお盆」を撮影したいと思いました。なんとなく乾いたような時世の中で、
氷見ならまだ「お寺が人々のコミュニティの場」であった風景が残っているかなと思いました。
氷見は山と海に囲まれた処です。
人々は、豊作の秋を祈り大漁や安全を祈ります。
そして、母は大都会に出て働いている子どもたちの安全を祈ります。
ここでは、仏教の信仰が人々の暮らしの中にしっかりと生きづいているように思いました。
